Looking for recommendations for a gas radiator heater

Hi All,
I am looking for a new or used gas heater for a small apartment (One bedroom Living bathroom above my garage 2 car garage also needs to be heated. It is mostly for guests it will not be used all winter.
I know nothing about brands or types as I have lived in Australia for 20 years.
Can I have some reccomendations please. Should I consider second hand? what is a reliable brand model etc..

    Do you have a boiler in the main house? Can you run piping from there to the garage?

    Hey Rob, Thanks for the suggestion Great idea I am not sure if I have the excess capacity in the gas heaters in the home or if it is easier to have its own system. I will only be using the apartment form time to time and the plumber suggested putting antifreze in the line to ensure we do not have freezing problems.

    Most boilers are oversized so a heatloss of the structure needs to be done to ensure it can handle the additional load. Just to get a general idea, how many square feet is the home including the addition and what type and how many BTU's is your existing boiler?
