This Milwaukee 11 amp band saw may be the best investment in a tool I've ever made...cuts through angle iron, strut, and threaded rod like a hot knife through butter. Cuts are clean, square, and quick. I was like a kid in a candy store using this thing.

    My 12 volt Milwaukee fuel impact driver! Fits on my belt and I don't even know it is there. But works for every fastener I need to run, including 3/8 lags. Next best is my new Dewalt 18 volt cordless bandsaw. Like Stephan says, I use it for everything. But mostly for cutting pipe for gas jobs. Quick, fast, and no burrs.

    job site favorite tool I think is my non ferrous porter cable chop saw. Burns through 1-4" copper like butter. Leaves such a small inner ring that one light swipe with pen reamer and ready to go. When we are piping boiler rooms, it is an arm saver and time saver.

    @Tim - I was using the same setup for awhile but there was so much copper "dust" and shavings inside the copper pipe after each cut that I had to blow out the pipe with a compressor after each cut. Not a big deal considering how fast and straight the cuts are with a chop saw.

    I agree Stephen the band saw is a thing of beauty.Took a long time to be persuaded to use it but now never look back.But without my Ridgid 300 nothing else matters thats my bread and butter.

    Band saw a favorite, 4 1/2" grinder with a cutting disk, I would hate to be without my cutting torch. I don't do much sheet metal but I have a pair of Kett nibblers or"double cutters" as some people call them. They make fast straight cuts in sheet metal up to 18ga?? I think. Drill a hole with a step bit and then go to town with them. Paid $100 new for them years ago. Paid for themselves over and over....................and over. Can you tell I like demo??

    My favorite tool by far is my PC and has been since 1994.

    It lets me learn almost anything i want. Second would me my soldering irons, third my turbo torch and fourth my 18V Dewalt cordless drill and fifth my calipers.
