hi
I have trying for weeks to replace a very stange globe valve made by the fisher company. the casting number on the valve is 1293 and it is 2.5'' threaded .
this valve has not electric nor is it a manual valve.
this valve open and closes on a series of weights that hang from a rod attached to the valve .
this valve opens wen the DA tank gets full , then,, I think it allows da water into the boiler on back into the DA
tank. I THINK it operates on the weight of the water then it tips the weight ..similar to a scale.
I need to find a repair kit or a replacement
the fisher part number I think is 171-41 or 171-42
I do have some photos of this valve but I do not know how to download it
anyhelp will be appreciated

Try getting hold of someone at Emerson Process Management. Try http://www2.emersonprocess.com/en-US/products-services/Pages/final-control-and-regulate-brand.aspx for starters. Fisher makes a very wide range of control valves for various purposes, and it sounds as though you have one of these.Br. Jamie, osb
