Oil to Gas Conversion?

Actually,
My heating bill with gas is often a 1/3 what my neighbor pays in oil. Of course, he's also using a 1920s boiler that was converted to oil but the fact remains.
I feel bad for him paying 3 times what I do, but he refuses to do anything about it. He even has someone I consider to be the best in the business willing to do the work for him but as long as the old one keeps going he isn't spending a dime. Other than on oil.....Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

I'm not familiar with him. The two that I mentioned earlier should be able to help you out. Tell them that they were recommended by Heating Help.Jimmbo said:Thanks, all.
No one's mentioned the one person on the contractor list who's reasonably near me: Bill Raymond at Frank & Lindy Service Co.
Any experiences with him?

Those are great pics of a Smith boiler! They don't show the important parts, the piping! We need to see the piping above and around the boiler.0
