OK to use 45-degree elbow to raise the steam vent?

I want to put in #2 Gorton, but I don't have enough room, if I am doing a straight shot up. Thinking about putting 45 degree elbow. Any issues with that setup?

    The vent has to be vertical. The pipe leading to it can be angled as long as it can drain. Don't want to form a p-trap or the vent will stop working. Not sure if that helped you?

    Does it have to be at 90 degree angle to the main?

    I guess then I need to do 45 from the main, then a nipple, then another 45 and that should put the vent at 90 degrees to the main.
