Rinnai r94ls Tankless and Propane?

Im about to score a Rinnai R94ls tankless and want to install it in a house out in the country that has propane. Can this model run on propane? It has been running on natural gas up to this point.

You certainly....
You certainly can run it off either LP or Nat. You will have to call Rinnai and order the correct conversion parts from them which will not be a problem.
I have done it a couple times. It will also come with a new sticker stating it's now LP.0 -

propane company to insure the tanks supplying propane are sized for the new perhaps additional load.0 -

You need a new gas manifold which includes the orifices and you need an LP air damper to make this happen. This work should only be done by a trained profession that knows how to use a manometer to adjust the gas valve pressure and make sure you have the right inlet pressure for the conversion. While you have the gas manifold off it will be a good time to clean the burners, heat exchanger and flame rod and electrode.0
