Poly Pro venting....

Anyone been having issues w/ polypropylene venting connections? I have a couple boilers out there that use the concentric set up. and they drip condensate back into the boiler. When the boiler is all sealed up its tough to see there is an issue....until you have a bit of a mess.

I installed the venting w a bevel on the male end and used a bit of spray silicone to make sure it went together well. I am about to give up and use high temp silicone caulking. The leaks tend to happen on the horizontal runs.

    Are the horizontal runs pitched back to the boiler?

    your not supposed to need it by the leaks cause me to lose confidence it the stuff.

     Yes its it pitched back towards the boiler.....as per instructions.

    Concentric Venting

    Being a Viessmann guy have been using M&G's Concentric for a long time. Number one reason why you get condensate in the fresh air intake is running the vent through an unconditioned space. If you didn't have a proper connection you'd have cross contamination which is a much bigger problem then the condensate..
