What is the best way to cut Hi Output Baseboards enclosures. I'v used a carbide saw in the past, but tons of sparks, would electric snips work OK? I use slant fin and it's really thick'

    Saw

    I have tried several ways (including elec. snips) and I still think the easiest is a chop saw with a carbide blade. as long as you grind off the sharp edges. The one time I tried the snips, it ended up bending and warping the first piece beyond repair, and the second piece broke my snips. Maybe they were dull? don't know, but I used a saw for the rest of the job.

    Cutting baseboard enclosures

    I use a good pair of aviation snips, lefts and rights or reds and greens. Keep your cuts so the end caps will cover them. Klenk snips are what I use. Measure twice, cut once.
