I would like a nice detailed drawing of the hot water heating zone off of a steam boiler including bypass loop around boiler, circ pump, switching relay, and aquastat etc. I am trying to add a baseboard heating zone to a 1st floor apartment off of burnham steam boiler.  I need to determine if the boiler can handle this new heat load so I guess I need to do a heat loss calc and look at the rating on the boiler. I am in the process of doing that so any help regarding this what be greatly appreciated. Are these set ups safe?
