wall furnace

A friend of mine wants to install a wall furnace in a remodeled garage, at this point it is 1 big open rm 400 sq. ft  Option 1, the easiest,   mount heater on the inside of the outside wall. (closest to gas line )  Option 2 build a small interior wall in rm and install a dual wall heater.  Asking for opinions. I worked in the commercial side of the trade and am not familiar with wall heaters

Thanks Rick

    Is this a direct vent

heater (concentric vent) or does it use Type BW vent (double wall oval shaped)?

Does it get its air for combustion

from within the room and does it have a pilot? If so it has to be 18" off the floor off the garage also follow venting instructions as vent termination and vent location in relation to walls or parapets. They can only be installed in single story dwellings. It will need a header plate in accordance with section 10-27 of the National Fuel Gas Code NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1. They are installed in the wall cavity between 2 x 4 construction.
