Burnham MPO 84 andn indirect piping question

I have decided to install a Burnham MPO 84 along with my existing Weil Mclean 40 gal indirect. The DHW will run on priority, I also have 2 heating zones.  Will I be OK with 1 inch supply and and Taco 007 pump for indirect?  My concern is that the smaller boiler will not be able to keep up with the flow to the indirect. Would a 1 inch zone valve be an acceptable alternative to the seperate DHW pump? What is the advantage of using pump over zone valve for indirect?

    1 inch is fine

On priority the boiler should have no problem keeping up with the indirect . Even without priority . Unless you have a huuuuge hot water demand .....

We've installed a few boiler / indirect combos with zone valves and they are trouble free .

Just remember the boiler water return from the indirect has to go into the lower tapping in the back of the boiler . Where the boiler drain goes . Not where the system return connects in the boiler . Good luck with the install !

    You can

Also pipe it primary/secondary and leave the boiler drain alone.

    Burnham

Only shows a Beckett/Riello for the 84. If your going for the carlin,I would check with Carlin first
