parts type used with CI baseboard

in THE MAIN WALL
which type of parts I should use to directly connect with CI baseboard, cast brass, copper, galvanized, or black steel? I am thinking it may make difference because of the different expansion rate.

    Where you will find expansion problems is the run to the baseboard . The connections do not matter .. Least to most iron ,brass , copper ,pex
