Are you talking theoretically? Or are you on a service call w/ a system that has a problem because the TXV is r22 and the comp is r134a and the Walk-In is warm because the TXV is not feeding enough freon?!0 -

I'll say Orifice size in valve, Delta" P" between hi and lo side and The temp and state of the liquid entering the valve...........
