uPON HOOKING UP MY NEW GUAGE IT DROPPED TWICE! ON THE FLOOR.
OBVIOUSLY I AM WONDERING HOW ACCURATE IT IS NOW.Any thoughts out there?
Seems to be working. It was one of the wika steel guages.

I would bet its ok. I think I dropped a vapor guage once and it reads ok. Just make sure the needle is sitting at zero and u can blow on it w ur mouth and the needle will move. I test alot of them that way, just watch out for pipe dope. lol0 -
we've all done that
the only way to be absolutely sure of the post impact accuracy, is to get another; and put it on a tee so you can see whether the 2 readings coincide. assuming they do, you can mount the extra on the vent of an upstairs radiator. on my system, it's the only way i can tell it's running.--nbc0
