I know I have asked this question years ago... 20 degree delta T &  avg flow rates.

 if 1/2" pex can carry about 15k btu , and 3/4pex about 40K btu.... about how many BTU on 3/8" pex?

    3/8 Pex Capacity

    About 1.0 gpm @ just under 4ft. of head and 4fps. velocity = 10,000btu's @ 20deg. Delta T.
