I am remodeling my home and need to replace some horizontal baseboard with the single pipe with fins on it. I would like to know how many BTU's per foot it is so I know what size vertical radiator I will require. Thanks

The manufacturer will provide charts for this.
I happen to be using Slant/Fin baseboard, and they provide this chart for the model I use.

I assume whatever manufacturer you choose to go with will have a similar chart.0 -

I thought on a heating system you were not supposed to mix copper baseboard and cast iron radiators on the same zone? am I correct guys? what happens if you do mix them?0 -
Mistake
Forget what's existing. Proper way is to do a heat loss of the room and size the board to overcome the heat loss based on the rates of output Dave provided you with the charts."The bitter taste of a poor installation remains much longer than the sweet taste of the lowest price."0
