I am remodeling my home and need to replace some horizontal baseboard with the single pipe with fins on it. I would like to know how many BTU's per foot it is so I know what size vertical radiator I will require. Thanks

The manufacturer will provide charts for this.
I happen to be using Slant/Fin baseboard, and they provide this chart for the model I use.

I assume whatever manufacturer you choose to go with will have a similar chart.0 -

I thought on a heating system you were not supposed to mix copper baseboard and cast iron radiators on the same zone? am I correct guys? what happens if you do mix them?0 -
Mistake
Forget what's existing. Proper way is to do a heat loss of the room and size the board to overcome the heat loss based on the rates of output Dave provided you with the charts. There was an error rendering this rich post.
