Leak Loc

Options
I have been using LeakLoc thread sealant for years and just recently my electronic leak detector activated when leak testing a fitting that I had used LeakLoc on.Then I tested the LeakLoc container and my electronic went crazy.Did this happen to anyone else?

    yes

My leak detector has been doing that for a while, don't know what is in it to cause this but many times while leak checking i forget grab the bubbles trying to pinpoint the leak then i remember that leak loc sets it off. have to look into the reason why    tim

    Of course it does!

LeakLoc contains Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) which is sensed by many electronic leak detectors.
