New boiler fill, how long to boil to clear oxygen?

Options
one person's advice was to bring the water temperature up to 190 deg and leave it; but in your case you will probably want to skim the boiler, and that should be more than enough heating to drive out the oxygen.--nbc

I just had a Smith Model 19-6 re-piped, so it's been drained and refilled. Since heating season is pretty much over, how long should I fire the boiler to clear out the oxygen that is in the water to reduce the corrosion from the new water.

    Thanks,

    Nick's right --

bring it up to a good full boil and the oxygen in the water will be pretty well gone.
