How do you tell if your tank has a bladder or not?

in THE MAIN WALL
The tank is 51 inches long by 12 inch diameter.

    Bladder or no bladder

    How do you tell if your expansion tank has a bladder or not. Mine has the threaded nipple pointing down. Do I bleed it by taking the nipple out? My system is leaking out the relief valve overhead. Thank you.

    if its...

    long (24"- 36" and hung above the boiler... no bladder
    if its "about" the size of a gallon 1/2 container...bladder

    Expansion tank
