On a low pressure glycol solar loop (4 lbs static) what should the exp tank pressure be set to.??? Paul

    Why such a low fill pressure?

    with the system pressure dropped charge the tank to the static fill pressure, plus 5 psi.

    Remember low fill pressures make air elimination tougher. Solar systems are often charged to 50 psi or more, with a 75 psi relief valve.
