, why the Solo 60's are taking so long to get to distributors? Also, is their website down?

    I think it`s 10,000, the Night is a great boiler too, but my preference is the TT.

    but it doesn't come with enough water content to prevent any kind of cycling issues, and it doesn't ignore flow issues, requiring P/S piping in most systems.

    nice boiler, but a low modulation solo would be/is the bee's knees IMHO.

    Have you bought the "service kit" yet ?

    I opened mine today (still in the shipping box) and thought I was in Heaven. All the necessary parts in a handsome, rugged case.

    got my first 3 60s this morning, at first glance, very little diff from the 110 except no circ, and now a Taco auto-vent. Also new packaging makes for less fumbling to remove from the box.

    Tony- Yes I have the service kit, although I haven`t used anything from it yet!

    I will agree Rob that the water content is not sufficient to prevent cycling but the Knight does have a feature that is unique to prevent cycling.

    It has an option to create delays in 10% increments between low and high fire. Giving the boiler a low fire hold for 10-20 minutes, we have found, has limited cycling drastically in our installations.

    Given the contrast between say an extra gallon or so of water content and a low fire hold option? I take the LFH.

    that's cool, but i would prefer passive measures to active measures given a choice. Water content can't malfunction, and it buys about 1.5 minutes of firing time with NO flow at all.

    but if that were the only issue I wouldn't find it compelling either.

    Pushing an entire system with ONE UP15-58, now that I love ;)

    short cycling

    What do you guys think. A small buffer for the low load zones, and a slightly larger indirect to make up for the lower recovery rate??
