system with barrier tube, if it has pex, cast should be fine.

Although I am a proponent of hydronic conditioners regardless :)

    Which material is apprioprate for use in hydronic heat loop?

    It's a closed loop

    with copper (baseboard). But your reply has reminded me of an obvious answer I should have thought of to begin with... better to use bronze circ. with the copper pipe.

    Waste of money on a closed loop. No oyxgen, no rust.
