R7148 answer

I always thought if the controller was seeing a flame or any
light for that matter it would not start the fring squence.

A couple weeks ago there was a question about the R7148. It took awhile to network. This is from the product engineer:

The R7184 has diagnostic features that help to trouble shoot. I would like to know what the flash code for the green LED was when the control went “dead”. I would bet it was in a lockout state due to the limited recycle or limited reset mode and the contractor did not read the instructions to hold the red button down for X seconds to reset it.

The cad cell readings during run and the cad cell reading during Off would be important. In addition what the AF2 burner was firing into, ie is the chamber lined with a wet pack or is it a steel unlined chamber, could be that the control is seeing flame either during valve on delay or burner motor off delay due to a valve problem---
