something tells me that's a hot-water system, not steam.

    If the pressure gets up to 11 psi and temp at 190. can this cause some pipe nipple failures? How about pipes against the wood getting to hot.

    Something is wrong with your figures. You can't get steam, let only 11 PSI with 190* You need to make at least 212 degrees to boil the water and more temp to reach 11 PSI. Get a pro in there to figure this out.

    Thanks al I was reading the guage on the top of the boiler. Thats where I got those numbers. It's a brand new guage. I was just reading some of the steam book. Maybe the guage they put in just isn't sensing properly. The system works fine I was just wondering about the numbers.
    Thay seemed off.
