If there is air in the pipes, you will hear the water rushing through them. It may make popping noises which is caused by expansion of the pipes, and the piped rubbing against things like floor joists ect. Sometimes vibration from the oil burner, or oil line can resonate through the pipes also. What kind of noise is it?

hot water heat problem
How do you know if there is enough water getting to the system and how do you add water.
piping making alot more noise and we do not hear water going thru the lines anymore?0 -
usually noisy baseboard is air in the pipes. You have to bleed the air out. Baseboard should be silent when the air is purged. Your prv should maintain the pressure for you.0
