Taco Dmand pump will work fine with a tank less heater. Push the button to energize the pump and the heater turns on producing hot water. Always consider the pressure drop through the heater when sizing the dmand pump. This could be the problem youre referring to with the on the demand system. Pressure drop through the tank less heaters are typically higher and low head pumps will not have enough capacity to trip the pressure switch energizing the heater, so the pump runs but the heater doesnt. Taco recommends the 0011 Dmand pump with tank less heaters.
