                    2.5"? we use the 1" Crete-Heat with a 1.5 " light weight over pour. This gives you the thermo break you need or you end up heating the slab below.

 I am about to finish my basement with an existing concrete slab. I will be installing electric radiant heating over top of this and am hoping to get some input on what products to use for insulation/thermal break. Styrofoam will be too thick Any help would be appreciated                        0 Any help would be appreciated                        0

 of stuck then. Bubble wrap sucks. Wood will absorb miosture and rot. 1/2"poy iso board is really your only option...kpc0

            or use the 2nd best heat emiiter...
 Cast Iron Baseboard Radaitors.. Pricey, but can't beats the comfort when installed properly..0
