ron i feel some type of refractory is the answer also... i have not used any buderus boilers yet but would like to try one in the future, we install burnhams v-8 and some dynatherms, in my own home is a direct vent fp24 dynatherm i tried a riello, carlin, and a beckett af11 none worked well unless an 18 liner was put on bottom of combustion area,, then the riello went from #4 smoke to 0 without changing adj.. i setteled with the af11 which has given me a quiet flame, along with a tiger loop its been burning white as snow year after year since 1999. it gets serviced 1 time each season, and no problems,,,, maybe no burner out there works best without a chamber,,,

Leo, This process is going to be done in small steps. I heard Riello will be the first burner setups to be looked at (due to volume of sales). The first step is to "realize" there might be an issue and have the burner manufacture acknowledge it as well. We are working on it!.

    burners

Hey, got to love this forum, it can be confusing, but I am getting a lot of insight, from guy's like you, in the field. I called Buderus again today, as I had a big problem, a freeze up in the attic, new house, homeowner is general contractor ( my first mistake) Homeowner did not want to pay the extra $300 for anti-frezze, as the air handler had a freeze stat that operated the 007 if it got to cold. Well, it has been cold here in Ma., the owner had the first floor on, house was 60 degrees and turned the stat off. yep, water everywhere. Half millon dollar house. Boiler was off on safety, another coke problem. First time in 15 years I had to give a customer my insurance carriers number! I called Bider's and talked to another tech (not Joe) and was told to set up burner with a 10% co reading. I am more confused than ever!! Help!

    I have argued

I have argued before that like System 2000 only comes with it's Manager, Buderus should only come with the Logomatic. It runs the circs if it senses a burner fault. Would have eliminated your problem. If you have a signed paper refusing anti freeze the liability is on him.
