would a air valve work in a 2 pipe syst.
have 2 rads. twined in and not getting hot.
changed 2 traps and valve... stm going to all other rads
help....

No!
Find out why the rads don't get hot. Disconnect the unions at the traps and see if they heat. If so, you have pressure in the returns- possibly from bad traps elsewhere in the system- or a water pocket in the return. If not, something is blocking the steam supply- possibly a water pocket there too.
