Residential 30psi Boiler Relief Valve drips in summmer, Why?

in THE MAIN WALL
Residential 30 psi. Hot Water Boiler Relief Valve drips in summer. Drips about .25 gal in 24 hours. Why? I have replaced relief valve twice in two days. Continues to drip. What could I do or check to stop this problem.

    Why?

    Water psi set to high. But most likely reason is a waterlogged compression tank or a under pressurized x-tank. Last in could be a bad (leaking) tankless coil if one is on system. If this doesn’t make sense to you please call a pro

    I would add to the other suggestions a bad manual fill valve, very common for an old valve to leak through a bit. If you enjoy plumbing I would change the old valve.

    Sometimes relief valves just leak. If there is nothing causing too high of pressure, just replace it.

    I've never had much luck re-charging ex tanks. I usually just replace them. Same with blow offs. Once they go they often won't reseat even if the pressure is right. A test gauge on a hose bibb in the system saves a lot of conjecture. Good luck
