using a reset with my new boiler

in THE MAIN WALL
just brought a new gas hot boiler to do radiant heat system. i was told to use a reset by my local supply house. i call my manufactor ,they told me i didnt need it! is it just an expensive bell and whistle or it would make my system run more efficiency?

    Many diminish the "need" for ODR. Note the word "diminish," not "eliminate completely."

    The house must be huge!

    150,000 BTU's implies a home of well over 4,000 S.F?

    More importantly, is the boiler modulating? Condensing? We cannot help without a model number. BTU's are interesting. Model is everything.
