using a reset with my new boiler

just brought a new gas hot boiler to do radiant heat system. i was told to use a reset by my local supply house. i call my manufactor ,they told me i didnt need it! is it just an expensive bell and whistle or it would make my system run more efficiency?

150,000 BTU's implies a home of well over 4,000 S.F?
More importantly, is the boiler modulating? Condensing? We cannot help without a model number. BTU's are interesting. Model is everything.0 -
