Burnham SCG vs Buderus

look at the differences in them. Insulation jacket, heat exchanger, burners. Burnham is a quality product, but those Germans sure put out high quality products. I view Buderus like getting a Mercedes Bens at Chevy prices.

    Hey guys,

    I ahve installed several Burnham SCG boilers and have not had any problems. Buderus has an equivalent that gets 85% efficiency also. What's the opinion on the better boiler or do you think thay are similar. Prices are almost identical which I'm sure is by design.

    Why would you consider any other manufacturer?

    I've used both

    I give the edge to Burnham, I don't think Buderus has the quality edge at all!!
