I went to taco's web site and printed the info for the check valve all ready. I will be back to the job site on thursday and will remove them both.

    has anyone had this issue with the taco mixing block
    RMB-1? I have two on one job that I looked at today and the owner said they are both very loud. I did not fire up the units to hear it my self, for the supply house is going to give us two new ones to replace them.

    Ricky,

    I had the same problem last year. All it was, was the internal flow checks, it was a squelling sound. Taco had me remove them, they ran great all last season. great product.

    did you have to put flow checks outside the units or go with out them all together.

    A sheet on this

    Taco has a sheet on removing the check on their web site. I used it and it worked with no ghost flow. I,m sorry I don't remember the exact spot on the site it is located.
