Oil or gas? Priority control? BTU's of each?Elbows on each? Distance from appliance's to chimney? Interior or exteroir chimney?Height from floor of boiler room to top of chimney?Is boiler room conditioned?

    So it's feasible...

    I think I have my answer. It can be done if conditions allow. By the way: gas, no priority control, approx 118,000 BTU on boiler, heater unknown. Elbows on both, appliances within 6 ft., exterior chimney height at least 16 ft. Boiler in unfinished basement, no radiators or A/C.
