#1 is clean copper with no paint, solder or other impurities;
#2 can have paint, solder and other impurities on it.

scrap copper
I just came from the scrap yard. I got $2.75 per lb for my #1, and $2.50 per lb for my #2 copper. Brass was at a $1.50. I was just wondering what scrap was going for elsewhere? Im in central NY0 -
