    Has anyone experenced with a spirovent, that if you makeup the nipple too tight on the bottom inlet it will obstruct the inside spiro mesh and vent will not work.

    Yes, several times. I've had to remove the inner core and cut the bottom on an angle and re-install. A real PITA when it happens.
