    Steve

Want me to come up and help you tear out the equipment? On second thought, maybe a story would do.

Damn, you need a good lawyer!

The bank doesn't skate on this deal quite as easily as some have said. Once they posted forclosure notice, they have assumed a degree of liability here. Failure to protect the property from vandalism, freeze up, and other forms of damage falls to the debtor in possession of the property. I'd be having my lawyer file for recovery of the value of the installation that THEY did not protect. Talk also to your insurance company. Make them aware of the loss you have suffered as a result of someone else's negligence, and file a claim for recovery with them. You installed all in good faith and have yet to be paid for it; ASSUME the position that you would have been paid had the property been forclosed and all liens satisfied, Including yours. DOn't take this one in the shorts, fight like hell for your money.

    Pictures

Assorted photos of the house and the mess that it's in.

I'm feeling poetic, as in poetic justice.........so I described some of the pictures in verse.

A pile of goo 'bout 3" deep, underneath is slate tile, it makes a man weep.

White carpet it was, all pretty and clean, Now mushrooms are growing, at least they're not green.

The water left tracks from whence it came, at least I'm glad that I'm not to blame.

4 15-60's, all hung in row, they got no gas so they won't go. Never been fired and never been filled, if I could just get'm, I'd be plumb thrilled.

Nice wet oak floor all buckled and stained. Someone should be taken out, beaten, then maimed.

    Enjoy ;)

    Ouch

    Steve,

We try to follow the "dead men" credo here (thanks Dan). We want all who follow later to marvel at our proficiency and professionalism. At least in the pics provided your integrity is intact. You need to make the best play possible to reaquire those wall hungs so they can perform as they were built to.

As I said before, we are all behind you 200%. Best of luck. Be shrewd. God bless.

    How Tragic this is

Dad and I got into a smaller version of this years ago. This thread has blown my mind this morning..I have learned a lot from you on this site Steve, and as others have said, even though I've never met you and probably never will, that you are a man of honor, and I have a great deal of respect for you..and you don't deserve this! Good luck, you will be in my prayers...mfm
