Main Vent Question

Options
I have a two pipe steam system for my house. The house has 23 radiators. I have two pipes that go from the boiler in opposite directions. The pipes start out at 4.5 inches. The pipes reduce in size as the piping travels through the basement before returning to the boiler area in a pipe that is 1.5 inches. The total length of each pipe is approximately 85 feet. The end of each pipe had a Hoffman 4A vent. I replaced each Hoffman 4A with a Gorton #2. Is one Gorton #2 sufficient for each pipe? There is no main vent on the condensation return pipe. There does appear to be a steel plug in the condensation return line approximately 15 feet before the pipe returns to the boiler area. It appears that this pipe only vents through the condensate pump. Should there be a main vent on the condensate return line before it reaches the condensate pump? If so, would one Gorton #2 be sufficient? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
