I am trying to use my new Pro version software to help in designing a system. I want to add 5 hot water coil circuits, and do not see that option under heat emitters. I was looking for a way to add a custom emitter using flow required, head, or Cv, but can't figure it out. Anybody out there who has the software, please help. I will call Siggy at Appropriate Designs, but I assume they are not open until monday.

Huh? I'm sorry, I know how to add branch circuits. It's just the only options for heat emitter are baseboard, or radiant. I want to use hot water fan coils.

What
Add your 5 circuits, then click show balance valves and adjust as needed.0 -
I don't know
that you have other choices.
Could you just build baseboard to the spec of the fan coil?
Say the output is 10,000 BTU/hr at 1 GPM. Insert the BTU of the FC, and adjust flow rate via the box?

Well, I have 5 hot water coils, 90K BTU each, each coil needs 10 gpm, and per aquecoil literature, every TE4 coil itself needs 4.9 Pump head (feet), add to that about 4 ft of head for branch piping from the main. I want to design the system to use a single, variable speed circ controlled by a pressure differential sensor to maintain a constant pressure. I can figure it my old way, but was wondering how I could use my Hydronic Suite program to simulate it.
