    I'm wierd I guess

The CD case in the truck contains all kinds of music, and I like it all! My tastes in music are rather omnivorous I guess. The case has Mozart and ZZ Top, Allison Krauss and CCR, Beethoven and Journey, Nickel Creek and Boston, The Cathedral Quartet and AC-DC, Def Lepard and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Schubert and Phillips Craig and Dean, Skynyrd and Metallica, Allan Jackson and Bachman Turner Overdrive........ The list goes on...........

There's even a CD in there by a gospel quartet called GloryBound that had a bass singer named Steve Ebels.

I like my rock, rockin and my gospel with sweet harmony. Bluegrass with an edge and my classical composers classical.

Maybe I'm schizophrenic instead of omnivorous.

    Don't Forget

The Blues....A little Robert Cray, Stevie Ray anyone. You are just musically rounded. I got my seventeen year old daughter hooked on Zepplin. Tired of the one, and two hit wonders of the era. I asked Karissa, and her friends if they thought there was any modern day groups they listen to that could role with the test of time and last 30 years or more. Like the Who, Stones, Eagles on, and on. NOT.

    Kinda funny.

Just found these tapes in an old case. Uriah Heep (Demons and Wizards), "Eassssy Livin, and I've been forgiven", Montrose (Montrose)" You're rock candy BABY".

    Saw Tull

Saw Jethro Tull last winter at the Palace in Albany, NY. Previous was Thick as a Brick tour 30 years ago. Did Locomotive Breath, they are still freaking amazing. The musicianship is incredible! Catch them before they are gone forever...

Maybe there is a genetic link between Zappa and hydronics types:)

How about this one for the trade:

"Lights flicker in the opposite loft..
In this room the heat pipes just cough...
    The country music plays soft
but theres nothing to turn off.

    Just Louise and her lover
    so entwined...

    And these visions of Johanna
    still haunting my mind."

    Bob Dylan, circa 1965?

    Anyone remember when Mr. Zappa

played a big-time drug dealer on "Miami Vice"? "I once had a friend who wanted to get into the weasel-dust industry........ and he ran off with three million of my favorite dollars"..... that was far and away the best episode of what was otherwise a very boring and predictable TV series, which mostly depended on "eye candy" for its ratings. No wonder we all watched it religiously......
