Guys, I have a appt building with a Taco 122 A2 N10. It's 11 1/8" flange to flange. It's got a 1/4 horse motor. It has 6" diameter 4-bolt flanges.

Can anyone give me an idea what this might be in B&G?

The #'s given, the 121 comes up with a spec sheet, and this pump will deliverjust over 100GPM @ 4 ft head. Taco has the info.

The #'s given, the 121 comes up with a spec sheet, and this pump will deliver just over 100GPM @ 4 ft head. Taco has the info. Checked B&G, found an LD3 in line pump that is virtually identical. Offers slightly more head on the lo side, but close. Check it out. (Taco-hvac.com/ and bellgossett.com. What size is the connecting pipe? I'm not so worried about the flange configuration.

    Hope this was helpful.

    why

Why don't we start by asking why the customer wants a B&G?

    I agree

I do not have a problem with either manufacturer. But, you know how customers can get. SOmetimes they have their minds set on something ;-)

Do we know the flow, and head required?

My thought is replacing the Taco 122 pump with a smaller less expensive pump if we know what the load is. switching to a B&G with more capacity will cost the customer more money to operate and may cause velocity issues. Just a thought.
