to go back and read the REMS book. It looked like you can get tongs for both MC and tongs for PP. Still use the same powerhead.

Tongs

are made for each particular fitting pressed. One set of tongs presses copper ProPress fittings, one set does Viega/Stadler crimps; one set does Wirsbo MultiCor fittings, etc. ALL tongs fit in either the REMS tools or the Ridgid, and are interchangeable.
