Steel Boiler Manifolds

plastic, copper, brass and stainless steel manifolds, but never steel. I wouldn't want to be the first one to try them either.

    Steel manifolds

Hi folks... I'm a wholesaler looking to stock prefabricated steel manifolds. Are there any brands that have exceptional features/benefits/quality and conversely, any that should be avoided? I appreciate help from all of you experts! Thanks...

... than using threaded fittings and steel nipples, which is typical here in NYC. These manifolds are SCH40 steel pipe with outlets that are beveled and welded thereby saving the installer a ton of time. Only in New York!!

    Hello...

i used some nice steel headers made about 25 30 years ago....these were made out of gun barrel blue steel...havent seen anything like them since however you find the manufacturer i will go back to steel headers.

They made me some schedule 40 2" radiant manifolds that were top notch. Excellent welding. Pretty red ones :)

    Gun metal blue

Just to clarify... the gun metal blue you refer to sounds like it is probably seamless pipe made By Sharon Steel. They dye their seamless pipe a bluish color to differentiate it, which it certainly does. Thanks to you and all the others for your input, I'll investigate Raven and Earthlee.

Good Evening Gentlemen! I haven't been on "The Wall" in quite some time because I've been just too busy. I want to thank you Dan, for the beautiful write up you gave Speedheaders again in January. It was only this weekend that I read the article and then saw this post. Thank you, you are most kind. Its not easy being female in this line of work, but I feel I have gained the respect of many. Hot Rod, I'm so happy you like the color red. Your header pictures are hanging on my "wall". Steve, thank you and I'm delighted you are happy with the headers. I will agree though, be careful of purchasing headers that aren't fabricated here in the USA. I have had several occasions where customers have mailed me a header thats not mine. They had several leaks and were quite misaligned. I've always replaced the other header, but am quite shocked at the junk people sell.
As always, I hope all is well with everyone!
