Circ's in Series

If you put two circulators in series in a closed loop system , do they have to have exactly the same specifications? I am working on a ground loop system that has two Taco 0013 circulators and one is bad. I want to replace the bad one with a Grundfoss UPS26-116. The spec's are almost the same but not exactly. Is this a problem?

You shouldn't have any problem. Without both pump curves and the system curve I can't tell exactly but if the pumpcurves are close you shouldn't notice much difference. bob0 -
well if they are off a bit, they will "ride the curve" and find a happy output of head and gpm, You should be fine if they are a bit different, but as said try to match as close as possible0 -
Thanks for the help!0
