from a general conractor who attended a trade show in FLA. that weil-Mc is comming out with a new boiler in the spring...from the sounds of it it is a three pass/ scotch marine design aka Buderus/Biasi/viessman. kpc

They are being tested in residences right now, should be out soon. Burnham has reportedly done the same thing. Almost sounds like all the chest thumping about pin type single pass boilers being the best, just as effecient, etc might be over... or it could be those companies losing market share to veissman, buderus, biasi, pensotti etc!!!!!

nobody is talking about how...

does the flue gas get pushed into a tighter area as it progresses away from the fire to get condensing at higher temps because of the higher pressure,

or, do they seperate the flue gas solution (of H2O and CO2), to get the h2o part to condense closer to the normal 212 rather than the 136 it does in solution?

i just have to know ;(

Install lots of em. Get them from Redlon & Johnson and Coastal Winair. Haven't used one with the new controls yet. Soon I hope.
