Ancient Bard oil furnace with a (Wayne?) burner model MP-98. The motor is shot.... the problem is the motor flange on this old girl is about a 1/2" larger diameter than a normal burner motor.

Are these larger diameter motors still available? It's so rusted up I can't tell if it's 1725 or 3450 rpm. (this old babe has been doing yeoman's work in a dairy barn for 35 years) Obviously the motor numbers have also succumbed to brown rot or I would post them. There are no supply houses open at 11:30 PM so I can't call and find out. Therefore, I seek the knowledge of the WALL. Anyone awake yet?

    Check out ......

The fuel pump numbers. If you can still read them, you'll get your answer.(unless it has been replaced by a dual speed competitors replacement) Best of luck. Chris

    I've seen them

lots of 'em. probably threw most of them away. I'll check my bonepile today and see if I can glean some info for you. I'm sure it's 1725, too.

    It's probably a 1725 rpm,
