TwoPipe Steam - End of System Piping Questions

I have read Dan's "Lost Art" and "We've Got Steam" books - not because I wanted to , but because I had to. A year ago we installed a new W-M 450KBTU steam boiler (two pipe) (before I had the good sense to read Dan's books). Still have lots of system problems (uneven heat, no heat at some radiators and some hammer in one steam loop). In addition to backing down the pressure, cleaning wet returns and replacing bad radiator traps (temp gun worked well), my new contractor (who I got off the "Find a Professional" section) and I are considering some changes to the end of system piping - mainly installing F&T traps where there are none and bypassing the condensate pump. A jpeg file containing a picture and highlighting my questions is attached. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

that your system can run on less than 1 psi (8 oz pressure is better), you probably can drip all end of main and dry and wet returns below the water line and tie them together before the Hartford. That would let you get rid of the pump and the trap. Make sure that each main has a vent of its own, sized accordingly to vent quickly.0
