Nozzle
Under some circumstances possibly. Why do you want to do this??0 -
I heard some techs like this nozzle better for cleaner light offs and better co readings.Just looking any opinions on this.0 -
That really depends on
the burner spec. What unit are we taking about?
Going the other way I would stay with a W if it was 'spec', but several good alternatives to that are a Monarch or Delavan AR and an AB from Danfoss0 -
Firedragon the boiler in question is a penscotti with a reillo burner.I installed this nozzle on a pm visit last June. The homeowner does have an indirect so it has lite off this summer. He was having lockout issues so another tech replaced wit a b nozzle. The homeowner has not had any more problems.Im not sure if just the nozzle was defective or if because it was a w.I have installed w nozzles in many other apllications with very good combustion readings.I do perform testo digital readingson all calls.Just looking for any helpful input.Thanks0 -
In my Riello
Handbook I state that I prefer a Delavan W or the AB from Danfoss in a Riello/Pensotti combo. That's what has been keeping me warm for 24 years, FACT!
However, in the smaller firing rates the newer (since 2000) F-40's seem to have some great success with hollow types. It's a different head and spinner design.0 -
I do have your handbook.Where in there is the info on the pesnscotti boiler with the w nozzle. The penscotti I was talking about had the reillo mectron(redbox) burner. Thanks for your help.0 -
